LOW POLY VERSION
HIGH POLY WITH VERTEX COLOR PAINTED
PROCESS
The minecart was made using a traditional high poly to low process. I began with a blockout of the low poly in Maya, making sure the sizes and scale of each part where correct.

From there I built out a clean low poly version, from which I would later build the high poly subdivided version out of.

I paid extra close attention to texel density on this project. I wanted the entire prop to be ~10.24 px/unit, with exceptions only insignificant areas like inside the cart and below. To achieve this I ended up utilizing 3 texture sets.
